dogball, They left Wells in the game for at least 2 innings too long. Anyone could see what was going on. They come back and tie it up, at least there was hope. Just between me and you, my early game is for redemption (x1) and the fact that they haven't lost 2 in a row is about the best thing that i can come up with. Good Luck!!!!! al watts

Ok what great insight.. I think I have come up with an angle out of this.. Bet on the Yankees after they lose because they havent lost two in a row. Solid.

I thought that i would post this, just for the fun of it. I thought about this game a lot. As gametime approached, i still hadn't made up my mind. I procrastanated even longer and at 10:35pm i hit the "place bet" icon for Anaheim @+150, still apprehesive but i went for it. Sure enough, my clock must be a little off because the event was closed for betting. Final 3-2 in OT, Anaheim. Good Luck!!!!! al watts

Nothing like another after the fact post. What a waste of space.

And if they lose two in a row, just bet on them again because they haven't lost 3 in a row. A much better angle in my opinion. Who cares about the moneyline anyways.

Thanks buddy, I'll add those to my list.. I bet the Yankees have a great record on the 5th game if they've lost 4 straight. One should also always bump up threads in the middle of the game for updates and to tell everyone on the forum how they did. lmao

Here's my favorite quote today...brilliant analysis by Jake:

Tampa/Balt Under 9
Tampa +140
Pitchers Zambrano/JJohnson

"Both these pitchers have been excellent thus far. Zambrano has a 6.19 ERA and a 1.94 WHIP, which looks bad on the surface, but when you consider he's faced the Red Sox once and the Yankees twice, you get a feel for why his numbers are inflated."

Shockingly both plays lost. Baseball is a funny game...if you can't count on a pitcher with a 6.19 ERA, who can you count on?
